Máster universitario en genómica y genética

Desde el año 1999 trabajo en la aplicación de la genética a la acuicultura y la gestión de pesquerías en varias líneas de investigación: evaluación de recursos genéticos marinos, genética de poblaciones, trazabilidad molecular e identificación de especies y stocks, expresión génica. En 2011 me incorporé al Instituto Español de Oceanografía (IEO) como Científico Titular en la especialidad “Genética aplicada a la acuicultura”. Actualmente soy la responsable de la Planta de Cultivos del Centro Oceanográfico de Vigo. Editora de la sección genética de la revista AquaTIC de la Sociedad Española de Acuicultura. Miembro del comité de expertos del grupo de trabajo de ICES (International Council for the Exploration of the Sea) Working Group on Aquaculture (WGAQUA, 2013-2015). Alternate del Advisory Committee de ICES para temas relacionados con la acuicultura. Miembro del grupo de trabajo en Acuicultura de EFARO (European Fisheries and Aquaculture Research Organisations) desde 2015.
